About AI Arcademia

What Is AI Arcademia?

AI Arcademia is a collection of in-browser STEM games ultiizing AI either in their construction, their gameplay, or both. Through a learning-by-building method, we've researched personal growth and student-based growth, in partnership with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and mentor Dr. David Rakestraw. Each game is designed to promote genuine conceptual understanding in one of the four STEM categories: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

The project explores how AI can support the creation of learning tools as a means of making deep learning stick, while simultaneously teaching through the learning tools themselves.

In Partnership with LLNL

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is a U.S. Department of Energy lab, which applies science and technology to national security, energy, and environmental challenges. In collaboration with Dr. David Rakestraw, an LLNL senior scientist, we delve deep into the topics of learning through AI and mobile sensor use.

The Builders

AI Arcademia was created by a team of 5 students, each contributing original games and collaborative testing / game / web evaluation.
